Vocarin Lacti Throat Spray is a medical device in the form of a spray, containing tyndallised (non-viable) Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus lactic acid bacteria lining the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat to form a protective film.

Effects

• It has a moisturising effect – it maintains the elasticity of the mucous membranes, which effectively soothes irritation and discomfort caused by dryness in the mouth.
• It limits the colonisation of pathogenic microorganisms, thereby creating better conditions for the regeneration of the mucous membrane and accelerating the restoration of the normal flora of the mouth and throat.
• It makes it harder for bacteria to adhere to the surface of tooth enamel, reducing the risk of tooth decay.

Indications

• as a supplementary treatment for inflammation of the mouth and throat associated with viral, bacterial or fungal infections;
• to relieve symptoms, such as: dryness in the mouth, a dry cough, a scratchy throat, and difficulty swallowing;
• in cases of dryness of the mucous membranes resulting from the use of medications (e.g. antidepressants, antihistamines);
• as a supplementary treatment of gum inflammation; for the prevention of tooth decay;
• preventing the build-up of dental plaque;
• as a preventative measure following dental treatments.
